A Prince On A White
Bike
ALEX CASEY'S life is in
a rut until she lands a dream job with an oil company in downtown
Denver. On her first day, the elevator seems to take forever,
especially when Alex has to wait next to the sexiest man she has
ever seen. By the time the doors finally open, Alex is sure her
elevator man is meant to take her to heights beyond her office
on the twenty-second floor. If her mother knew how attracted Alex
was to this stranger, she'd have the wedding chapel booked and
the meatball appetizers cooked. For the first time in her life,
Alex could mentally see herself cooking the meatballs with her
mom... that is, until the man of her dreams leans towards her
and quietly points out that she has a blob of lipstick on her
front tooth.
Eat the meatballs mom,
this isn't the man.
Or is he?
A Prince On A
White Bike is a refreshing ride full of fun adventures and
even Alex's tendency to get lost in Denver's maze of confusing
streets doesn't stop her from eventually finding her true path
to happiness.
A Prince On A
White Bike is a romantic comedy and is 63,000 words in length.
Allergies Over The
Atlantic
The letter from the tax
office isn’t good news. Apparently KATRINA ORION inherited
her beloved grandmother’s huge tax debt as well as her cottage
in Key Largo, Florida. Although Kat has a decent career as a flight
attendant and she picks up extra jobs as a scuba diving instructor,
earning money is not one of her stronger traits. How can she possibly
pay off this massive debt when she barely manages to feed her
pet fish, FIDO, responsibly?
Fortunately she finds
a newlywed couple in their eighties, MARTHA and MILTON, to rent
out her extra bedroom. Their money – paid up front - covers
about half the tax payment.
Unfortunately, they are
also hornier than teenagers in a porn shop. Martha was a virgin
until she married Milton and she’s determined to discover
what she’s been missing for the past sixty years. It’s
bad enough when Kat has to awkwardly coach Martha on various sexual
positions, but it gets really bad when Kat realizes her eighty
year old roommate has a wilder sex life than she does.
In the meantime, a government
agency tries recruiting Kat to work undercover on targeted flights
from Trinidad and Tobago, where drugs are being smuggled into
Miami. Kat hesitates at first. After all, she’s not really
spy material. Her upper lip sweats when she has a lousy hand during
a poker game with the girls.
But a hefty signing bonus,
a pay hike and some fun spy gadgets are enough incentive for Kat
to slap antiperspirant on her lip and take on the new challenge,
despite her nervousness. If it means saving her home, she’ll
be the best spy her country has ever seen.
MAXWELL LONG, her new
boss at the agency who reminds Kat of a turtle, seriously questions
the agency’s decision when Kat inadvertently serves tranquilized
water to her passengers onboard the airplane, flushes a hamster
down the toilet and stun-guns a suspect's exposed penis by accident.
But Kat rallies on, determined to find the smugglers.
Kat’s handsomely
annoying pilot, NICK OTROVSKY stumbles into the investigation
during one of their overnight stays in Trinidad and Tobago. He
gets himself captured by the smugglers and Kat fumbles a rescue
attempt, resulting in both of them getting locked in an electrical
closet. Their only chance to escape is to use the electrical panel
to start a fire and a diversion inside the building. But, before
they break out, they discover they have more heat sparking between
them than the circuit breakers.
Somehow Kat manages to
find out how the drugs are getting smuggled into the states with
her crazy new career and even saves her home. Move over Martha
and Milton… Kat’s on a roll. Now, where’s Nick?
Allergies Over
the Atlantic is a romantic comedy adventure and is 95,000
words in length.
