| Welcome
to a small but perfect retreat in Winter Park, Colorado!
We only need three
words to describe our small, but perfect retreat…
1. LOCATION!
2. LOCATION!
3. LOCATION!
You’ve just found the
perfect place to escape to in Winter Park. Aside from the beauty
of the mountains and the unbelievable skiing, the town of Winter
Park centers around a fun shopping/eatery area called Cooper’s
Creek Square. This little cabin is literally across the street from
this popular area, just steps away from the best restaurants and
local entertainment. But go around to the back of the property and
find a wooded hideaway complete with a peaceful stream called Vasquez
Creek, not more than 20 feet away. The best of both worlds!

WINTER PARK, COLORADO…
Some quick highlights of our
place:
· Sleeping arrangements
for 3 adults
· Separate kitchen with all necessary plates, glasses, pans,
etc.
· Hot tub facing Vasquez Creek located steps away
· Free ski bus stops in front of Cooper's Creek Square to
take you to slopes
· Convenient Winter Park shopping, restaurants & local
entertainment literally across the street
Again, skiers as well as non-skiers
will find this to be the perfect place to escape to in Winter Park!
Skier’s Haven
As noted above, the ski bus
route is in front of Cooper's Creek Square, which is across the
street from the house. This makes it convenient for each skier in
your party to hit the slopes or to return to the warm home at their
convenience, versus waiting for the group to coordinate. Although
they operate throughout the year, over the winter months, these
buses run every half an hour.
Non-Skier’s Haven
For those of you who don’t
ski, you couldn’t ask for a better location to stay while
visiting Winter Park. Just open the front door and walk across the
street to shop in downtown Winter Park. Choose from a number of
fabulous restaurants or take in a movie at the town’s tiny
theatre only a half a mile away. Walking and biking is very popular
in Winter Park and convenient paths run through the town as well.
There’s even a free ice skating rink in Cooper’s Creek
Square during the winter. (Skate rentals are available at Christy
Sports, located next door to the rink.)
Both Skiers and Non-Skiers
Alike
This cabin is tiny but cozy
and perfect for a private mountain vacation getaway. We’ve
decorated it with fun skiing memorabilia throughout. A hot tub is
located behind the main house - seconds from your front door - and
literally sits above a creek, surrounded by trees. Although the
entire cabin is only 500 square feet, the kitchen is a separate
room with a tiny stove and oven, refrigerator and microwave. Again,
the kitchen is completely stocked with all of the necessary kitchen
supplies. All you’ll need to do is bring a sack of groceries
before hibernating for your stay.
If you prefer to go out, step
outside the front door and take a short walk across the street to
find restaurants for everyone to enjoy including yummy choices such
as Italian, Mexican, Chinese & BBQ! At the corner, you’ll
find a McDonald’s and across the main street from Cooper’s
Creek Square, you’ll find a fabulous Sushi restaurant and
even a Subway sandwich shop. Again, steps away from your lodge!
The shops in Cooper’s Creek Square range from ski clothing
to jewelry to children’s toys and clothing. They are all small
and locally owned, making it a friendly place to shop.
MORE INFORMATION
Again, the kitchen is tiny,
but very functional. We’ve even fit in a small café
table with two chairs in here. You’d be snug, but it’s
cozier that way, right?
The queen-size bed sleeps two
and is in the main room with a cool ski headboard (check out the
pictures!) and a denim patched quilt. A sleeper loveseat pulls open
to a twin bed. A TV/DVD is available for your group's enjoyment.
A bathroom with a shower completes
this tiny hideaway. Again, it’s great for a small group to
escape to in Winter Park to ski or just to enjoy the friendly mountain
town.
